Where can I find the recommended supplements? The nutritional supplements our physicians prescribe can be obtained at most health food stores or pharmacies. PMCA stocks a limited supply of the most frequently ordered supplements. Although we offer them at very competitive prices, you are under no obligation to purchase them from us. NOTE: A few items that we carry that may not be readily available outside PMCA include:
Please let us know if you are having trouble locating the supplements that you need. We will attempt to help you locate them convenient to your home or office. When will I start seeing changes? Each patient will respond differently. We cannot tell you exactly when changes will occur, only that your health will improve if you follow the treatment plan. Our physicians will discuss your plan of care with you and answer your questions during your office visit. Please work with them to feel better. How long will it take for the doctor to return my phone call? When you leave a phone message for the physician, it may be a number of hours before you receive a response. PMCA sets itself apart from many other healthcare facilities by spending concerted time with you. They answer your questions, review your current health status, and listen to your concerns. In some cases, these visits may take 45 minutes or more. We believe the time you spend with the doctor is critical to your overall wellness and we certainly would not want to interrupt a patient visit with a phone call. Who do I ask if I have questions about my medications or supplements? Please contact the PMCA office during regular business hours and leave a message with the appropriate PMCA staff member. Additionally, your personal pharmacist should be able answer your general questions and provide you with current information. What if I have questions about my bill? Please contact the PMCA Billing Records Department during regular business hours. Our billing specialists and insurance verifiers are available to help you with your questions. We are happy to talk with your insurance company to help you maximize your benefits. We are happy to work with you regarding our many payment options. How do I get a prescription refilled? In most cases, our physicians will provide you with enough medication to get you to your next appointment. If this is not the case, please call PMCA directly or have your pharmacy contact us on your behalf. However, DO NOT WAIT until the bottle is empty. For your safety, it is our policy to refill prescriptions only if you have been seen for your follow-up appointments. We will be happy to provide you with an appointment so that the doctor can review your status and prescribe a treatment plan.
