First Office Visit

A specially trained patient advocate will greet you on your first visit to discuss treatments utilized by Progressive Medical Center of America (PMCA) and their expected results. If you choose to be treated, a financial advocate will, if needed, discuss the financial aspects of the process. Then, a medical technician will take a history. A physician will take a more complete history, perform a physical examination and order the appropriate tests.

You will be asked to return in approximately three weeks at which time the results of the initial tests are discussed. Based on these findings, you will be placed on an individually-tailored treatment protocol, and the registered dietitian will design a diet that will address your specific metabolic needs.

Diagnostic Testing

The PMCA testing protocol, in establishing a diagnosis and subsequent course of treatment, requires very comprehensive testing procedures. Our Physicians must first establish a baseline in order to design an individual course of treatment to guide a patient toward a balanced metabolism. Be assured that we will recommend only the specific testing required to diagnose and monitor the root causes of your health complaint. These tests require physician's orders and have pre-existing codes determined and accepted by the insurance industry.

Insurance Filing

For our patients with the benefit of acceptable insurance, PMC, whenever possible, conveniently files all claims directly with your provider. We may request your assistance in dealing with your insurance company, to finalize claims filings.

PMC accepts and files with most private insurances that are either a PPO or POS as a courtesy to our patients. We are an ‘Out of Network’ provider. We do not accept Medicaid, Medicare, and HMO’s.

PMC prices for testing and services are noted in Tab 7 of our Patient Information Handbook which is given to all new patients at the time of their initial visit.

Please be advised that while insurance companies cover most of our testing and services according to patients’ specific coverage plans, some of our services will require cash payment.
