About Andrzej Wor
Andrzej Wor, Progressive Medical Center’s Director of Diagnostics, is in charge of several diagnostic tests, including the Heidelberg Gastrogram, the Brain Mapping plot, H-pylori test, and SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) tests, as well as Biofeedback treatment, among other diagnostic tools.
Andrzej has been with Progressive Medical Center since 1999. At Progressive, his specialties and interests have revolved both around neurological and gastrointestinal issues and systems. Andrzej holds both medical and management university degrees, as well as Heidelberg Medical, GE Medical Systems, and Electromedical Technologist certifications. In his spare time, he enjoys watching soccer and martial arts events, training his Cane Corso dog, and cooking up a storm on the grill.
Andrzej believes that you should always help people and treat them as you would like them to treat your mother: with kindness, understanding, patience, and professionalism.
Progressive Medical Center is one of the few places in the Southeastern United States to offer the sort of tests and analysis that Andrzej specializes in. The Heidelberg Gastrogram can help diagnose various digestive disorders, such as acid reflux, gastritis, ulcers, food allergies, and bacterial infections. It can also help determine if you have low or high stomach acid, which can affect your digestion and absorption of nutrients. Brain Mapping plots can help researchers and clinicians understand how the brain works, diagnose and treat various brain disorders, and monitor brain changes over time. The H-pylori test is a test that detects the presence of Helicobacter pylori bacteria in your stomach or upper small intestine. These bacteria can cause ulcers, gastritis, and other digestive problems. The SIBO test is a test that detects the presence of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), which is a condition where there are too many or abnormal types of bacteria in your small intestine. This can cause symptoms such as bloating, gas, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and malabsorption.
